28th Annual Convention

The auction at our annual convention is more than a table full of prizes. It’s one of the most fun highlights of the weekend, a joyful, inclusive, and spirited time that draws the participation of kids and our entire community. It also fuels the vision of Friends by helping to fund our vital programming for young people who stutter and everyone who supports them. Anyone can contribute by donating an item, whether you’re able to join us in Charlotte or not!

We are seeking auction items with a minimum of $75 market value, that are unused, and belong to the following categories:

• Unique toys (e.g., Lego sets)
• Electronics
• Unique experiences (e.g., cooking lessons, workout classes, dining experiences)
• Photography sessions
• Memorabilia (e.g., Jerseys, albums, books)
• Friends themed items
• Handmade/handcrafted items

We’re also collecting gift cards of any amount to bundle into creative raffle prizes for attendees of all ages. And yes, there will be more than one winner!

• Every card helps: Any amount towards any store is welcome
• You can send a card ahead or bring it to the convention
