A Summary of the February Virtual Adult Group

We had a great discussion in tonight’s group that mostly centered around community. We talked about how important it is to be part of the stuttering community – it is a place with no judgment where we can all speak freely and have the unwavering support of other people who stutter. We also discussed how we can feel better after a negative encounter and the group shared some great ideas including: talking with family and friends, having hobbies to help take our mind off it and writing down our feelings and thoughts to help reframe the situation to a more positive mindset. I look forward to the next meeting in March!
